On behalf of the IUPHAR Transparency and Reproducibility Subcomittee (Basic and Translational Section), we wish to draw your attention to a database (www.etris.leeds.ac.uk) that provides information on free online resources that help to guide good practice in preclinical research, especially in respect of experiments that use animals. Topics addressed by these resources include: guidance on experimental design and statistical analysis of the data; the 3Rs; research animal welfare; and reporting the experimental findings (ARRIVE 2.0).
